A 3 TO 5 YEAR JOURNEY TO EXCELLENCE

This is Phase 4 of 6 focused on planning and developing a roadmap including budgets and resource plans to transform the Asset Management Framework into actions.

The roadmap and the supporting project execution plan creates the detail to enable approval by management and acceptance by stakeholders.

Each company has a different journey however the key ingredients are the same.  The change in thinking and behaviours are significant so the journey takes years however there are always quick wins to kick start momentum and confidence in key stakeholders.

By this phase, the Asset Management Framework and supporting Manuals and Guidelines are developed and signed off. The analysis of asset performance and evaluation of asset management practice maturity. These are the starting points of the roadmap.

The roadmap then focuses on the essential activities around people and processes while concurrently developing and executing the strategic asset management plan, asset performance plans, and expenditure plans that all support the execution of the right work on the assets, at the right time, the right way.
